This FCC chart, picked up by GigaOm, conveys two things well:
- the gap between advertised and actual internet speeds; and
- the dramatic decline in speed experienced by customers of most internet service providers at night — in particular, between 8 and 10 p.m. — when we all go home and use Netflix at the same time.
